Individual Certification Requirements:

Academic or Professional Development Training in meeting one (2) of the following criteria:

1. Transcript, Diploma or Certificate of Graduation from an Academic Program focused on the above studies (to be approved by the ACS Board of Examiners); or
2. Transcript(s) documenting 300 hours of academic training related to the field of above studies; or
3. Documentation of two years of full-time work as a Sexologist, Sex Educator, Academician or Researcher in the field of above studies; or
4. Life experiences such as filmmaking, author of books, blogs, articles, adult toy retailers, pleasure party consultants and entrepreneurial endeavors. (Eligibility for academic credit based on life experience will be determined at the discretion of the ACS International board.); and
5. Submission of a completed online application on our website, along with a non-refundable application fee of US$300.00 paid via PayPal upon submission of application. (You will be required to upload copies of required documentation in the online application.)

Certified Members will receive:

• An attractive certificate, with your name and membership status, suitable for framing.
• 3 year membership in The American College of Sexologists International.
• The use of “ACS” following your name and degree(s) to show membership status.
• The option of listing your name, specialties and contact information on The American College of Sexologists International website (www.AmericanCollegeofSexologists.org), if you checked the box above.

Diplomatic Certification demonstrates to your peers, competitors, staff, clients and community that you are a dedicated professional in the field of sexology and wellbeing, recognized worldwide. This certification helps open doors to potential career opportunities.

“Diplomatic Membership” Requirements:

1. A certified member in good standing of The American College of Sexologists for a minimum of nine (9) years, and
2. Submission of the Diplomatic Application form, and
3. Documentation of work and accomplishments in the field of Sexology since originally certified by ACS, and
4. Completion and submission of the reference form by three individuals, two of whom are currently members in good standing with ACS, and are knowledgeable of your work and accomplishments in the field of Sexology, and
5. Submission of a US$300.00 non-refundable application fee via PayPal, and
6. Diplomatic certification will be good for three (3) years from date of issue. A renewal application and a US$200.00 fee will be required every three (3) years thereafter to maintain Diplomatic status.

Diplomatic Membership gives you:

• An attractive Diplomatic Certificate, with your name, membership status, and Diplomate number, measuring 11” X 8.5” suitable for framing.
• The use of “DACS” following your name and degree(s) to signify your Diplomatic status.
• The option of a “special listing” of your name, specialties, contact information and Diplomatic status and Diplomate number on The American College of Sexologists website
